March twenty third

Hello and happy weekend to you! So today I wanted to share with you what I got up to yesterday. Me and Kieran went for a walk into our local town to get a few bits and bobs for our home. We had lunch out in one of my favourite spots. It is a local Italian café / restaurant. Every time we go I always get the same thing which is….. drum roll please………. the ratatouille pasta with buttery garlic bread. It is without doubt HEAVEN on a plate. Honestly the most melt in your mouth garlic bread I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The pasta is like eating out in ITALIA. They also make delicious pizza, which I have had once before. It’s all freshly prepared which makes me love it even MORE. I love homemade cooked food. Nothing beats the taste and you can always tell the difference of processed / microwaved food. I think after cooking and preparing homemade food myself for so long now I honestly don’t like eating out that much…. unless I know it has been lovingly made. Don’t get me wrong though I love a good takeaway now and again. Dominos pizza will never go out of style 😉

Look at that mozzarella melting on the top of the pasta… ahhh so good! Afterwards we walked back hand in hand and took some photographs. I wanted to share with you my look for the day. Scroll down for my outfit details. It has a little Disney inspiration of course.

I ended up getting a little pasta sauce on my top, luckily you can not see it in the photograph…. or can you? Ha ha! Okay so I am wearing my favourite Dr Marten boots, black tights, a checked skirt which I recently purchased in Hollister. My top is the original Mickey Mouse. I got it from the Disney Store in Cardiff and I absolutely love it. Plus the colour is gorgeous. I love orangey / mustard colours. I think they compliment my skin tone really well. Bag is a few years old by Marks and Spencer. Lastly my gorgeous velvet mustard headband by Urban Outfitters. I think I own about 30+ headbands. I may have an addiction!

Thank you so much for reading, please feel free to leave me a comment below:) Love Katie

Happy earth day I watched a documentary last week about climate change and it is frightening to think how we are destroying our planet. There are so many ways that we can help stop this from happening. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Planting a tree is an amazing way to save energy, clean the air + help combat climate change. Little changes like these can make a BIG difference.
