Hi guys! I wanted to share with you one of my favourite places MUMBLES, where this year I have pretty much spent EVERY SINGLE weekend!
Mumbles is a fishing village situated at the Western end of Swansea bay, at the entrance to the Gower peninsula. It is filled with a variety of restaurants, café, pubs and wine bars. Ice cream parlours are also dotted along the promenade.
It can be very busy at times because it is a popular tourist spot. But there are plentiful things to see and do! The pier, the famous lighthouse and two small rocky coves of Bracelet and Limeslade bay. There is also an amusement arcade, bowling alley, water sports, great places to go cycling / walking or even just to sit and watch all the hustle and bustle go by.
The scenery is beautiful, I always feel like I am on holiday when I visit. Below I have shared some photographs that were taken back in May this year, when me and Kieran decided to go cycling (which we have been doing all Summer) and stop off for delicious ice cream at one of our favourite restaurants VERDIS!
I had a Strawberry Sundae and it was so YUMMY! I have linked Verdis website HERE for you to check out the menu!
I did not take a photograph of the restaurant (I will next time) but this is just a couple of minutes walk up the road towards Mumbles pier. There is also a place to get ice cream and of course fish & chips here too!
I’m wearing a super casual outfit here. A pair of Hollister denim shorts, top and ballet shoes from H&M, sunglasses are from Free People and one of my favourite hair accessorises from Anthropologie.
I just wanted to point out that I have a thing for headbands lately, I think I own about 20 pairs!
I had to get this guy in here too, Kieran does not particularly like having his photo taken but he doesn’t know that I’m posting this one, so hopefully he won’t see it 😉
Thank you so much for reading!
